Known to most of the capital Silicon Valley, San Jose is a bustling with travelers that many people are proud to call home. If that’s you, and you’re looking for cable television, it’s normal to be stressed because there are some of the different options. But we made things easier by creating this list of the top three.
AT&T is the best cable television provider in San Jose for a number of different reasons. The first is that it offers you several different types of cable television. Your first choice is U-verse, which is a traditional cable television service. You can select plans that offer 300, 400, or 500 channels.
Another option is to choose DirecTV, which is a satellite television service that offers you 330+ channels, as well as access to specialty programming packages such as NFL Sunday ticket.
There are a lot of things to like about Spectrum, and if it were available to more homes in the San Jose area, we would probably have put it higher up on the list. However, if you do happen to fall into the service area, you should seriously consider using Spectrum.
The reason we like it so much is that high definition is included in the price of your subscription. Most of the other cable television providers on this list charge extra for this. In general, you will get fewer channels in Spectrum, with the most popular package offering around 200 channels. But this should be plenty, and that HD is included should be enough of an incentive to overlook this small shortcoming.
XFINITY is third on this list also because it is not as widely available as AT&T. But for those who can access expanded it, it’s an excellent option largely because it provides you access to more than 260 channels, and you can also use the mobile app to control all sorts of settings.
Being at the center of the tech industry, it’s no surprise there are so many choices for cable TV providers in San Jose. Use this list to help you make an informed decision and find the best deal for you.
