As one of the five boroughs, the Bronx is a major market, and residents have lots of choices when it comes time to choose a cable TV provider. We’ve reviewed all these choices and determined the following options to be the best three:
With more than 200 channels, all in high definition at no extra charge, and more than 10,000 movies and TV shows in its On Demand catalog, it’s tough not to call Spectrum the best cable TV provider in the Bronx.
In addition, Spectrum customers can bundle their cable package with an internet plan to save money on both, helping boost the provider’s ranking.
Similar to Spectrum in that it’s a full-service telecommunications company, Optimum is a great choice for Bronx residents, although it’s not as widely available as the others on this list.
One nice feature of Optimum is that allows you to watch TV wherever you want with its TV to Go app and service.
Optimum also offers more channels, with premium packages giving you access to more than 400 different networks, although this does cost more.
You also have the chance to bundle cable with home phone or internet service, which is a major perk that can lead to more savings.
For those less interested in bundling, DirecTV is a great option, especially because of its specialty packages, such as NFL Sunday Ticket, which gives you access to all NFL games no matter which market you’re in. This is useful considering how much the New York area teams struggle to compete.
DirecTV is a part of AT&T, so there are some bundle options available, but even without these DirecTV is a great option.
It’s hard to go wrong with one of these choices when you’re shopping for cable TV providers in the Bronx.
